Service Description
During the examination, the external and internal female genitalia are examined. The vagina, cervix and pelvis are palpated with a bimanual examination. The vagina and cervix are then explored with a Cusco instrument, and various staining procedures are used if necessary. Finally, the vagina, cervix and pelvic organs are examined with a vaginal ultrasound. Cytological sampling is also performed from the cervix, which is later analyzed by a cytopathologist.
